When we rush ahead, trying to force things to happen, we can miss the beauty of what God is preparing behind the scenes. A closed door today might be protecting us from something we aren’t ready for yet. A delay might be God shaping us, teaching us, or waiting for the perfect moment to reveal His plans.
Trusting in His Timing
Think of a farmer planting seeds. He doesn’t dig them up the next day to see if they’re growing. Instead, he waits, trusting that with the right amount of water, sunlight, and care, the harvest will come at just the right time. Our lives are a lot like that. God plants seeds of purpose in our hearts, and He nurtures them. It’s up to us to trust Him during the growing season, even when we can’t see what’s happening under the surface.
I remember a time when I was desperately praying for a new job. I felt stuck in my current role and wanted change immediately. Months passed without a single callback, and I felt defeated. But during that waiting period, God was working on my heart—teaching me patience, humility, and trust. When the opportunity finally came, it wasn’t just a job; it was a position that aligned perfectly with my talents and desires. Looking back, I’m so grateful for the delay because His timing was truly perfect.
